I’ve been experimenting with changing the way the sticks respond. There’s a setting on your RC controller that allows you to go from stick mode 2 (default) and change to stick mode 1. What this does, is it enables you to control the height with the RIGHT stick, and control whether the Drone comes towards or away from you with the LEFT stick… for coordinating with two hands, two controller movements at the same time: the left stick movement SLOWLY ROTATING with the RIGHT DIAL…THE ZOOM CONTROLLER. Try to SLOWLY move the drone away from a nearby subject while rotating the zoom dial. It will radically change the relative sizes of near-ground vs background, or if moving the drone away from from something like focusing on a person while zooming in or out you can get other strange and interesting visuals. Has anybody tried it? There’s a setting on DJI’s SPARK software that enables this automatically. But now you can do it too with your DJI mini3 Pro RC CONTROLLER!
