I just got in a few bags to sample from abdlfactory and I've been very impressed with them, a lot moreso than I was expecting. Quality is really high and they might make a good everyday daytime diaper for me, but they're way too expensive from abdlfactory like that by the pc or bag. Does anyone sell them by the case, shipped from inside the USA? Same question for BetterDry. (formerly Comficare)

I think Rearz are starting to stock some. NappiesRUs's eBay is now on the Global Shipping Program. For example a pack (or even a case) of Kiddo Diapers costs about $15 to ship to the states. Definitely worth having a look on ebay.co.uk and seeing what you can find that is enrolled in the program. It takes about a week for delivery, but it tells you if there are any import duties to pay (which I have never heard of anyone having to pay any import duty), and the tracking is very good along the whole journey.

I'm giving SaveExpress(.de) a try now. Ordered a case (well, 8 bags, I assume that's a case), grand total was US$171 for 80 of the large new dark blue diapers shipped from germany... just a tad north of $2/pc isn't terrible for a higher end diaper from across the pond I suppose. (certainly better than diaperconn or buntewindel! those usually average $3-4/pc)
Re: Rearz... look at the pic they have attached to the listing. It looks like the original white with pastel pink and blue art. I don't know if they posted that pic by mistake, or maybe didn't have any pics of the new night diaper, or if it really was just the original one in a previously-unavailable case quantity.

Regardless, that case alone, (the same 80 diapers) before shipping, is CA$200. (~US$150) So yeah, they're charging more than shipped from Germany... (and there's no telling if its even the right product) That's why I'm looking for a fair vendor to carry them in the USA.
FYI, 8 bags of large white mydiaper on ebay.co.uk is £157.12, ~$US196 shipped (and I don't see the new ones)
So it looks like saveexpress is stomping the competition from across the pond.

http://www.comfycare.net/diapers BetterDry now in stock $96 per case that's $1.60 ea and should be free shipping.
The tapes and leak gards have been improved on these diapers. The tapes are longer 2.79 inches, with better adhesive power.

I just am not a fan of the new Crinklz and BetterDry. The tapes are not good at all (well I keep ripping them off). There is no guide on the betterdry for the tapes (which I think was an amazing feature). The plastic is not as nice as the old version. They are a lot less bulky than the last version. The design on the Crinklz is not as nice as the all over print on the old one, and then most of all - they just aren't as absorbent.

Yeah, the new comficare diaper is a completely different product than the old one - they really bear no resemblance at all to the originals. I'll also agree that it's thinner / lower capacity and the tapes are poor by comparison. I have tape popping issues with them day or night. The tapes are sticky, I just think they're designed to attach to a hard, smooth tape panel, not a micro textured soft pvc shell, and so are never going to do well. I have a lot better luck with them just ripping the blue tapes off and throwing them away, and using the whites, they seem to stick better. (maybe my imagination? try it and let me know?) The soft thin plastic of the shell is also very easy to rip or puncture. (have got a couple with my zipper, ugh!) And yes, taping indicators would be a plus. Not really a big deal for caregivers, but makes it a lot easier to diaper yourself.
But all of that being said, I find the new ones wick better, lock wetness in better, (swell like craaaazy) and I don't have issues with leaking at the back corners. (maybe my technique, maybe a design issue, not sure, the original ones had a really long back wing and low tapes, they had a very odd fit) The leak guards on the rev1's were a joke, they were short and overlapping the padding and useless on a diaper with that wide of a crotch - the rev2 leak guards are positioned well and are like skyscrapers by comparison, and amazingly soft. I also find the version 2 to be extremely comfortable to wear - possibly the most comfortable diaper I've tried. (inside and outside) So overall I like them a lot. It's good to see there's a reasonably priced source for them in the USA, I'd visited comfycare before and bought a case of rev2 crinklz but forgot about them. (funny I didn't notice they stocked the regular BetterDry diapers, maybe they were out of stock when I visited) The crinklz are a lot more expensive, not so practical for daily use, but I'd consider the betterdry. I ordered a bag of BetterDry with my last Rearz order to test, but a case of those from them would cost me more than a case of comfycare's crinklz So good to know I can get more from comfycare later.

The BetterDry just came into stock today. until then, they were always marked out of stock. When you get them, let us know if the tapes really are 2.79 inches long. I am not sure where they are making that measurement.
The actual taping surface on the Crinklz I just got are 1.75".

I got one bag of betterdry recently with my mydiaper order from rearz, and they're identical to crinklz2 in every way except shell art. (including 1.75" tapes)
